Returns Policy

Under Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in this Policy we offer refunds and replacements for our digital patterns and handmade garments.  Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to consumers' rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Please read this Policy before making a purchase so that you understand your rights, as well as what you can expect from us in the event that you are not happy with your purchase.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item: 

• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it 

• is unsafe

• is significantly different from the sample or description 

• doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed. 

 

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

 

Ready-to-Wear: iolas collective garments are made in limited runs, no refunds will be given if you have changed your mind or ordered the wrong colour.  

If you have ordered the wrong size and the garment does not fit, it might be possible to exchange for another item in stock; however, this would be dependent on stock availability and production timelines.  Please ensure that you measure yourself accurately to ensure the correct size when placing your order.  If you have any questions regarding sizing, please send an email to sales@iolascollective.com.au and we can help place your order.

Made-to-Order/Ready-to-Ship: we are unable to accept returns or exchanges unless the item is faulty or requires repairing. Items that are faulty or require repairs can be returned for a refund or exchange or online store credit.  Within three days of receiving your order, please send an email to sales@iolascollective.com.au for instructions on how to return the item to iolas collective studio.

Items that have approval to be returned must be in original condition having been unworn or unused with original tags still attached. The cost of return postage will be at the customer’s expense and until these items are delivered to iolas collective they are your responsibility.

 

REFUNDS ON DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Please note that our digital products eg. pdf sewing patterns are tested prior to sending.  If you have any issues, with not receiving the pattern file, or the file has been lost, or the file has errors please contact sales@iolascollective.com.au

 

Before a refund is issued, we would like to do our best to rectify the problem or deliver the product to you via another email address or another method if required eg. printed pattern and instructions.
